Congratulations! I hope you will share her name original.gif

My Oscar was born at home and was a planned homebirth but he arrived before the midwife did so my husband delivered him, it was really special.

Congratulations on your (unplanned) home birth & that your DH had the honour of 'catching' your baby. Maybe next time (if there is a next time) you can plan an actual home birth & you can get to stay home afterwards as well original.gif

Thank you all so much for your replies. We are bf very well with no problems at all. We are also looking at going home later this afternoon. Yay!  We haven't decided on her name yet but she was born 3.72kg (is this right as I'm use to pounds?) and 51cm in length.

Here is our little miss, in the hospital a few hours after being born.

She still doesn't have a name, because DP doesn't think the name we had picked out 'suits' her  mad.gif
