Mr postman is bringing me a set of interchangeable circular knitting needles. Hoping they arrive before Christmas because I've got the yarn sitting here waiting!
DH and I aren't doing gifts for each other this year as we bought something for the house instead. However, he bought a new drill and I'm splurging on knitting stuff... like I need any more hobbies.
So what are you gifting yourself this year..?

Oh a set of interchangerables You will love those!! What are you going to make??
I had a few crafty things on my wish list. I know DH isn't buying these for me as he has bought me perfume. Maybe my in-laws will buy something off my list but I doubt it as they don't normally buy online.
My Dad has given me some $$s for presents though so I may end up buying for myself On my list I had a copy of the Colette book and also a mini quilt book. And I wouldn't mind one of those Clover mini irons

I bought my DD (22) a Learn to Crochet Set, for lefties.
Nothing else this year. But I have organised next years hand made gifts. I am going to make DS & DIL, DD & SIL and my two DD's and myself of course, a Santa and Mrs Claus dolls. I'm hoping they get brought out each year to go with the tree
I might make some aprons for the lady's too I'm in the sewing mood, so I am going with the flow....

Suez - yes, I'm excited. First up a Lady Kina for me in some tencel/acrylic blend in a rosy rusty shade for me. I got the yarn last week and have already made the pattern in the doll size version. Then a Little Hoodlums jumper for J - haven't got the yarn yet. Then tossing up between an Owl jumper for me or a plain cardi for me! Hmm - getting a bit carried away I think
I like some of the collete top patterns, and have drooled over the dresses but the dresses are mostly a little too gathered in the bust region for me. I need to make the girls look smaller not bigger!
I treated myself to a mini iron last year, but got one that converts to a hot-fix crystal applicator as well.I think I got it from QzQuilts in a package with crystals as well.
Lynn - you sound busy as usual, love to see the santa dolls if you get around to them. ooh and the aprons, I've got a pattern book sitting here waiting for me to cut some out - apron sew along in February any one?

Bec- The Lady Kina pattern is nice but probably not a style to suit me. I love the little hoodlum pattern. I always get lots of comments when J wears his. I hope to make one for K one day. I like the idea of a mini iron that can also do the crystals. Will see what I get for Christmas and maybe put it on my wishlist for my birthday. I have made a muslin and half way through a real Parfait dress. I actually found it very flattering for me as my top half is nicer than my bottom half although I have added onto the hem as it was a bit short for me. The patterns are made for C cups which is good. I'm a 10C up top.
Lynne - love the idea of the Santas.

I didn't receive anything crafty but gave a few handmade gifts. DD got a crochetted Mermaid from a pattern i made up, DS1 got a crochetted Bird in a birds nest with three eggs. The three kids got bags, DD a ruffled shoulder bag, the boys tote type bags. DS2 got a sewn boy doll.
Mum got a crochetted tree angel.
And I crochetted Santa gnome and a angel ornament that DD has claimed for her shelf in her room.
