Just checked out SKU's I could do a couple of pieces but overall NMS. BUT the NBG strawberries are to die for!! The whole line is so stinking cute and two of our friends have recently had girls and two ladies at work are pregnant, I have to buy some, even if it's not for me!

Off to look at the SKU's.
I don't hold much hope of us buying anything unless gymbo has gone goth, which is unlikely.

Margaret - what is the weather like out your way at the moment ? I am hoping to get a secondment at work and will be working out your way for a few weeks ... hot or cold, wet or dry or a combination of all that ??
Posted 09 March 2012 - 09:36 PM
This morning it was cool, some of the kids had their coats on at school. By this afternoon it was stinking hot, now it's 20o. Haven't had any more rain ( just as well). So probably hotter and colder than Brisbane.
So you'll need summer clothes and maybe long sleeve tops/cardies if you feel the cold or the aircon is cold.
You work for Origin don't you?
Let me know if you end up coming out here.
Posted 09 March 2012 - 09:44 PM
Yes ... Origin ... will hopefully be heading out to the Talinga site - it is a two weeks on two weeks off roster. It is only for 3 months ... am hoping to get it sorted next week - internal politics holding it up
Thanks ... so a bit of everything ! It will be interesting living in the camp - something completely different for me
ETA - what is the general opinion of the work that Origin does. I hope I don't look back and think i worked on one of the worst environmental disasters in our lifetime Obviously you get the internal spin but they conditions under which they have to operate seem pretty strict.

Snack, most people that live in town really have very little opinion on CSG. The other half work in the industry. And I'm one of the ones that say if it can be done in an environmentally friendly way which protects good farming land I'm cool. Mind you people in other towns could have a completely different view.
So how will you get there? Will you fly to here and then drive to the site or just drive straight there?

drive straight from Brissie... or get a lift with someone from Brissie ... either way it will be by road. Hope I have internet access in the evenings

Hi Guys - I read every day, just too lazy to post lol. Thanks for the link K - Hoping to buy for FAB, can someone remind me when it is?
I'm going away next week for 9 days. Just up the coast to Kingscliff. I'm hoping the weather is ok. I have fond memories of Kingscliff, I spent every summer up there visiting my Nan and Pop. It's for my 40th, so have booked into the Salt Pepper resort and have booked a few spa treatments on my actual b'day. Good God - how did I get to be 40!! Where has my life gone?
Posted 10 March 2012 - 08:26 PM
Fuzzy you have been living it, if you can't remember it then there must be a reason for that .
Hope you have a great time away.

Fuzzy, nice treat for yourself! I know what you mean though. I still remember my mums 40th clear as day and now I'm almost there too, how did that happen??
I think FAB starts on the 14th? I could be wrong.
Posted 11 March 2012 - 08:10 AM
Fuzzy- Happy 40th! Relax! Enjoy! You totally deserve it. Life sure does zoom on by.
I have no idea when FAB is. Sometime this week I guess. I am planning on ordering some stuff too.
I am gearing myself up for this week. I have agreed to work a full week at work and then the IL's arrive for a month stay the Monday after. YIKES!!

Thanks for the coupon Kirstin.
Not sure wheter to get some Tulips. We have so much for next summer but it might be my last chance as I would say Tulip won't wear them much after that.
Enjoy your spa treatment Fuzzy. I can only dream of something like that. All my money seems to go on the kids. Happy 40th too. ENJOY.
Snack, i don't know much about power companies, but i know a few people that have gone with other companies based on price. I think we are with Origon (sp).

FAB is looming and the chatter increases
Any NSW girls able to let me jump in on their FAB order please?? Fuz? Gipsy? Only if you have room of course?
Posted 11 March 2012 - 06:22 PM
I'll be away Donna - so not sure when I'll be able to do it and will be on my phone, no computer. Maybe ask Gipsy.

I'm happy to add stuff for you Donna.
Just send me the links. I just need to know when it starts. I'll load it onto my work PC and submit from there.

After an other opinion, what does everyone think of this dress? She likes the purple sash and it doesn't have a mile of crap on it so I like it. It's supposed to be a religous sacrement not a freak show so it really suits me. I think if I don't see anythin g when I go away at easter this might be the one.
Ithink it will be the first week end in June so she has a gymbo white uniform cardi that she can wear over it if it's cold.

Love it Margaret. So glad your DD is going for something a bit more traditional now. They have a beautiful selection of sashes too.
