My mum is memorable,
I recently learnt I'm expecting, she just moved to Adelaide, and will be coming home to Sydney for my CVS and other appointments!

Her ability to maintain even-temperment during my childhood/adulthood emotions and displays. Mum, that's memorable and reliable!

She's full of old world charm, blushes at the slightest thing, and is a real lady....so naive that we have to explain 'naughty' jokes to her!

She's a straight shooter, always calling a spade a spade. So you always know where you stand with her, like it or not! So many memorable moments surround my dear Mother.

My mum took me in with a young baby when I was only 19 years old until I could find somewhere to live. She still helps me out now. What a memorable, selfless mother!!

My Mum is memorable for her caring nature. There were a lot of ups and downs but she was always there in times of need.

I will always remember all the help my mum gave me in growing up- she used to always type my assignments for me (I used to hand write them), drive me around so that I could have a job as a Homecare Catalogue distributor, and when my marriage broke down and I needed to make the drive from NSW to QLD to live with them she was on a plane that afternoon to be in the car with me as I drove, no questions asked.

I remember my mum every day; her smile, her hugs, her love and that's why I treat my boys the same way every day.

My mum is a rock. She cared for my sister when she was sick with leukaemia for several years and even now, 5 years after my sister's death, she is still so strong. She doesn't think she is but she is the strongest, most caring person I know and I couldn't be without her

She is always there for us no matter what we do. She lets us make our own mistakes and never says 'I told you so'. We always have a shoulder to cry/lean on any time of the day or night.

She is a whirlwind of bad jokes, skeptical eyebrow raises and amazing advise. It takes just a cup of coffee and conversation to fix everything.

Because she has the most amazing attitude to life. Life isn't always a party, but whatever, wherever, she always take the party with her.
