It is a phase and will pass. In the meantime you could choose foods he enjoys the most and keep repeating those meals. The same meals every second week end for awhile won't do him any harm. For the last year, I have been feeding my 2-3 year old sausages or quorn nuggets, mashed potato and baked beans plus sliced apple on the one day a week he is with me.

Also themed dishes (space, animal, Thomas the Tank Engine) might interest him and lead to better table manners! Big W have cutlery sets for toddlers/preschoolers that look like adult ones but are smaller and have a different animal engraved on each piece. My little one loves them.

If that doesn't work and he still throws the food around, just remove the meal without making a fuss. A hungry child will eat! Don't make the mistake of then feeding him snacks. Wait until he is good and hungry and try again! Good luck.

know of any sites where she can do some age appropriate activities such as games, letters of alphabet, numbers, puzzles, girly/fun stuff etc?
