We are having bub number 2 and our 12 week scan is on dds 2nd birthday. All things going well we will be telling people from then. We're also having the families over the weekend of dds birthday for a party.

I was thinking of telling everyone that we are expecting number 2 at the party.

Anyone creative have any suggestions on a good way to announce this to the group?

I got an iron on print for a tshirt for DD from eBay that said "I'm going to be a big sister" and waited for people to notice original.gif

I announced my 2nd pregnancy to friends at a get-together. I got them all together for a photo and just as I took the shot I said "as I have your attention I may as well tell you I'm pregnant!" The photo is such a classic.

i have seen a few of these group photography moments on youtube and they are hilarious! One they said ''such and such is pregnant" and after a few minutes when the chaos died down...they regathered for the photo to be snapped again...this time the husband went "and its twins!"...the group just fell apart!


Wish we put a little thought into telling everyone but I think we stayed in shock for another couple of months there after.

We did similar to the photo thing. we actually annouced it at our wedding not that long ago original.gif we had a normal group photo, then did a "toast" just for fun, the my husband did a "toast to me being pregnant". the reactions were priceless biggrin.gif

I know someone that let their older child tell everyone just before she cut the cut. She's a a bit of a drama queen and stood on the table, hands on hips and announced that she was going to be a big sister.

We made up a T-shirt for DS with a L plate type of transfer on the front and Big Brother in Training on the back... Everyone loved it, once it clicked original.gif
