I think it is nice and that's how most people pronounce Sienna

C enna - I think the Ciena matches Kiara nicely too

I would probably try to pronounce it as Chi-anna as well... kind of like the ch sound in ciao.

I don't get it. I thought most modern spellings were to make them easier to read for people unfamiliar with the name.

But "Sienna" is more familiar than Ciena, and has the pretty colour connection, and Ciena just introduces s/k/ch confusion.

I'd say phonetically Ciena says see-nah or sy-ena?

Clucky as all hell.
It's pretty, but reminds me of the wine from Brown Brothers. Delicious actually...

Sienna is a name I quite like - but cannot see the point of changing the spelling of a well known name, already phonetically spelt, to another variation.

Just makes a simple thing complicated.

What is with people's obsession with changing the spelling?! It still sounds the damn same!

Keep the S. Otherwise she's going to have a LIFETIME of spelling out her name to everyone.

I see you're playing stupid again, looks like you're winning too
If it ain't broke, don't fix it...

Not sure why you would want to change it at all.
