I think the parents are supposed to be with the child. I took my former stepdaughter to have her bellybutton pierced (She was almost 16), her mum and dad had both said it was fine, I even offered to get them on the phone but the piercer said for piercings under 16 they had to have a parent present!

I'm not "flouncing" anywhere. I just can't believe how suspicious people are on here. Catching out "liars" or calling people on their "stupidity" because people have to judge immediately. I didn't post the whole saga initially and some people decided to go into overdrive.

Why? It's not really that different to the post a week or so ago in Venting where the OP's daughter was traumatised by the baby having its ears pierced? I don't recall anyone calling "ASW" on that thread.
