Were I a celebrity I wouldn't even give a thought to Anglicizing, I would use it to help normalize cultural names and give a reference point. That said, the sound/meaning of it are quite pretty. going agaisnt the grain here - I way prefer it as Keeva. Also they have to do what they think is best for their child, not use her to make a political statement about 'normalising culture'. If they prefer Keeva, thats what they should use - or vice versa - but whatever is their preference, not what makes the best statement or reference point. |
