Fruit platter/fruit skewers (or paddle pop sticks)
Sausage rolls
Mini quiches/pies
Mini burgers
Sandwiches/wraps (buy the square wraps, fill them, roll them then cut into slices so they are easy to pick up and eat)
Popcorn
Platters with vege sticks, cheese, kabana, crackers, dips, etc...

Depends on the age group I guess, and also the time of the party original.gif

If it was lunch/dinner time then I'd skip the sausage rolls & mini stuff and just BBQ some sausages or some chicken kebabs or something...or you could serve tacos/burritos and let people assemble their own original.gif

love it, love your flaps
We're having a party next weekend and this is what I've got planned...

On the table for when guests arrive
- popcorn cups
- chocolate fairy bread cut into butterfly shapes
- fairy wands (bread sticks dipped in nutella then sprinkles)
- dips w vege sticks and crackers
- cordial/water

Hot food coming out after a short time.
- mini hotdogs
- pizza squares
- nuggets

Don't stress, have fun with it, kids are easily pleased. I think the key is to not do too many different things, just do more of each dish.

Oh, will also have birthday cake to go with the above original.gif

Frog in a pond and honey joys, both really easy and can be definitely done the day before.

I always go with simple.

Fairy bread
Nuggets (the fairy ones, heart and butterfly shapes)
Party pies/sausages rolls
Fruit platter - strawberries, watermelon, grapes etc

Bowl of chips.
Bowl of lollies

Cake
Jelly in cups

Plenty of ice water
Jug of mix up cordial (I have 3 large jugs, in different colours (transparent coloured, red, blue, yellow)
I find the kids go through a lot of water.

Water is out for the whole party.
I might bring out some fizzy drink when I serve up food (pink lemonade)

If I think I'm going to have parents around, I'll put out a dip or two with some bikkies.

Love the fruit platter idea I tend to graze at parties and if it's just chips and lollies I feel sick after I have left.

Mini pizzas are a good idea.

I really like fresh veggies chopped up to dip in hummos or another dip.

Can't go wrong with sandwiches.

Homemade mini sausage rolls are always a hit.
