Why the side mirrors on some cars (mostly the fancy European ones) have blue glass. Is it in someway superior to normal clear glass???

I want to know why my former best friend and I no longer talk. I'd just love to ask her what happened to us? But I can't find the right words and don't know if she'd answer honestly anyway.

Also - what my husband sees in me? That man is crazy for sticking with me.

Mine sounds strange lol.

Every morning at 8.40, we pass a lady walking up the street. She always carries a green bag, and wears the same clothes mostly. She also has a bandage on her leg that is a small white square. I have seen her for at least a year and the bandage is always there. I want to know what it's for, why she has one on every day.

it's a small mystery the kids and I ponder whenever we see her..

Me too! At the end of high school she just stopped talking to me. To this day I have no idea why!

Do I know you?

Considering each generation of women is taller than the last, why don't pants manufacturers leave a decent hemline so tall women can let them down?

There is a house around the corner from me that has probably only been built in the last 3 years or so and now in the last month there has been a huge amount of tradesmen showing up - kitchen renovation vans, carpentry, tilers - its really got me intrigued as to what is going on !! Surely after only 3 years you wouldnt have a complete kitchen reno ? Arggh, its just bugging me, I want to stickybeak so badly LOL !!

So what do you want to know that you cant find out ?? LOL !

A workmate of mine went on holiday, and a pipe exploded in his house. Flooded the house, within an inch of it being knocked down........could flooding be an explanation?

Totally!!!!! And why, when you try on heaps of 34" length jeans, some are more than an inch shorter than others...?

The location of a very dear friend that I knew all through school. We lost touch a couple of years after graduation. It's like she has vanished of the face of the earth. A mutual friend last heard that she moved to Tasmania about 8 years ago. She also has no luck tracking her down

Have you got a photo? Post it in the Tasmania section - someone will recognise her!

Honestly... there is only 1/2 a million people down here - someone WILL recognise her!

Maybe it's an ulcer? My Grandmother had one and it was there for years...

I want to know where our septic tank is! I have a vague idea but I don't know for certain!

Well, we have a European car, not sure if it's a fancy one, but the reason ours has blueish glass in the side mirrors is because when the headlights of the car behind you shine in it at a certain angle (like the exact angle where it reflects into your eyes and blinds you), the glass goes - TA DA - Blue! And this blueish tinted mirror stops the light beams from being quite so bright in your eyes. Rear vision mirror is the same. So, is that fancy or what? Except I have to admit, ours are more like greenish.

I want to know who says each generation of women is taller than the last, because I'm starting to think that I am living in the wrong generation now... I am not taller than anyone, not even slightly-can-I-just-pretend-to-be-tall.
