hmm..

going to have to go against the status quo here and say I think the feeding rooms with the individual spaces/curtains/doors are for breastfeeding mums. The parents rooms are for parents of course, but those private enclosed spaces I believe are designed for breastfeeding.

Now before I get ripped a new one I'd just like to point out that I bottle fed baby no 1 because I wasn't able to breastfeed due to PND and medication, and yes I felt uncomfortable bottle feeding and got comments and looks but I never felt the need to bottle feed my baby in the curtained off area. I used the parent room to change my baby, heat up the bottle etc but then I'd happily feed bub in the food court with my husband.

Baby number 2, I was adamant that this time I'd get to experience breastfeeding (I was devastated I couldn't feed first time around) and I have managed to breast feed for 15 months and counting this time. honestly learning to breast feed and all its challenges require patience, support and privacy and being self conscious about having your boob out isn't going to help. Sorry, but those curtained off single use areas are for privacy for breast feeding mums.
