Ok, the 10 week challenge finishes this weekend, so I want to start a two month winter challenge starting July 1 to enter Spring without those extra winter kilos and with a few extra off too!

If you are in, post your goal loss for 8 weeks, and your diet and fitness plan for getting there. We'll post our losses each week and hopefully encourage each other on.

I'll come back and post on 1 July, when I know how much left I have got.

OMG this is perfect timing for me - haven't been on the board for ages and wanted to get some motivation original.gif

I want to lose 8kgs in the 8weeks (I have heaps to lose though). Just started at the gym yesterday and managed 6kms on the bike and 2km on the treadmill (walking). So my fitness goal is to improve on this benchmark each time - I plan to get to the gym 4-5 times a week. I want to take a few classes to but am always scared too but I will challenge myself! Diet wise I just want to make healthier choices and not snack at night (my danger zone).

Looking forward to starting this challenge with you all!

Thanks Lexillotti,

I am definately in, would like to lose 8 kilos!
I am trying to do up to an hour a day on my treadmill!
I've cut down my food portions and reduced my carbs,
I've also put my fitness pal on my iPhone as it helps keep me motivated!
Will weigh in on sundays!

It's a girl!!!!
I'm in

I'm thinking that if I"m under 55kg then I'd actually just be happy to maintain for the rest of winter. A loss would be a bonus.

I won't know til the weekend what my weight is though.

I am planning a yoga/tracy anderson rotation for exercsie. Plus walking for cardio.

Food wise I'm thinking low starchy carb, high fat med protein, with a couple of pieces of fruit a day. Like a fake paleo - I couldn't give up dairy or all the grains, but I'm happy to cut down on them.

One white coffee, three white teas a day. Herbal tea for other drinks. Turmeric and milk at night (for my arthritis).

Lots of soups for dinners and stews and stuff.

Good timing original.gif I have been thinking I need to lose some weight, and spring/ summer seems so close.

I would like to lose 5kg in 8 weeks.

I am going to start with little steps. 1) Stop drinking anything that is not water. 2) eat a healthy breakfast 3)on the days I don't work I am going to take the dog for a walk. 4) I am going to try and reduce my portion sizes.

After 2-3 weeks of doing these I am going to add some new goals to it.

Looking forward to doing this with everyone.
