Hi everyone
After having the joy of hearing that I am pregnant with my 1st child via successful IUI treatment, today I have been diagnosed as having an ectopic pregnancy and have been booked in for laparoscopic surgery Thursday morning. I'm devastated but think that I need to just write this so that I can make it a reality! Wondering what other people did to move on from this? S |

I am so sorry for your loss.
I had an EP in August last year and lost my left tube as a result. I was more upset about the tube loss then the loss of a non viable pregnancy which made it a bit easy for me to. I've on. You will eventually get past it, in time. Much love to you. This post has been edited by Covert: 05/06/2012, 11:03 PM |

Hi OP
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I also had an EP in March this year. Hubby and I have been trying for years and years to fall pregnant and we've been forced to use donor sperm. I was horrific pain and my GP sent me straight to emergency where I was diagnosed with a non viable pregnancy in my right tube. I was rushed inti theatre and lost my baby and my right tube. I was exactly 6w The week afterwards was heartbreaking. It took me a long time to cry and grieve but when it happened I felt relieved. My FS encouraged me to get back on the IVF roller coaster as quick as possible in order to move on. I wish you all the very best. |

I'm really sorry for everyone's loss. I am currently on the wait to see if my pregnancy is ectopic. They can't find where the embryo has implanted itself. I have had a heavy bright red bleed for 26hrs now and when hospitalised yesterday started experiences cramping. When I was discharged to wait it out I started getting a burning sensation across my abdomen which I would explain as worse the contractions. I'm not getting many answers from anywhere and feel really confused at the moment. I understand if no one wants to share what they went through but if anyone had any similar symptoms and don't mind sharing your experience I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
