Other things may change us, but we start and end with family.
Why is that crummy salad sooooooo good.

Has anyone got any ideas how they make the dressing?

I pride myself in everything homemade ... but the Safeway pasta salad, I just love it.

My whole family get excited if I'm busy and need a quick fix meal - it's usually a BBQ chook, pasta salad and some boiled potatoes.

Why oh why is that crap so good?

I have a food blog.
I think the dressing is something like whole egg mayo, white wine vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar.

I just use coleslaw dressing- the Kraft one and not the low fat one.

For the salad,

cooked elbows pasta
finely cubed capsicum, celery, sliced spring onion, grated carrot, grated tasty cheese, chopped flat leaf parsley. That's it.

Ive never used this recipe but I book marked it a while ago. Apparently it tastes the same as the supermarket version.

I did a combo of praise and greek yoghurt that tasted pretty close.

I included cheese, a mashed (probably not the best word but having a brain moment) boiled egg, celery, spring onion, capsicum, carrot, peas and obviously pasta.

I think mint peas were a little strong. huh.gif
