Has anyone read the triology yet? Apparently it was written as fanfiction in response to Twilight and because of its popularity, has been picked up by a publishing house. A few changes later and it is a best seller.

I am amazed that the first book is the top of the NYT Best sellers List and as yet, there has been no thread about it!

I have read them. ohmy.gif

Any thoughts?

Hand over the chocolate and no one gets hurt
My girlfriend insisted I should read these. I started the first book (on Kindle) and I can see why it is popular but I haven't got very far into it. To be honest, the writing is poor and the plot/characters are totally implausible (but maybe that is what fan fiction is?? I don't know, haven't read any before). I've had to stop reading, I just couldn't handle the appalling writing, it set my teeth on edge.

OMG I loved the trilogy. It is very racy and some may find it a little explicit, be aware it is classed as erotica.

The gorgeous damaged hero makes me swoon just thinking about him blush.gif .

Just finished reading all 3 and to be honest i ended up skimming through the 'kinky' pages as it was quite boring in the end. At first it was a bit shocking unsure.gif buuuut 3 books later the author became quite repetative and the shock factor wore off. You can definately see the similarities between the main characters in Twilight & FSOG.

I've read the first one. Very middle of the road I thought, I was expecting more. Not sure I'll bother with the other two.

I downloaded it on Kindle because it was No. 1 .I thought it was sci-fi fantasy for some reason.
I was wrong. original.gif
Badly written and fairly boring. I won't bother with the others.

Just Remember to breathe....
I read it as fanfic, but not as the published version.

I enjoyed it, but I enjoyed it as Edward and Bella if that makes sense?

Im not fussed about going to read the published version

I've only read the first and loved it. Yes, the sex gets boring by the end. I don't really know why I enjoyed it so much. I don't particularly like Christian and it's not particularly well written (though streets ahead of Twilight!). Maybe it was just an easy read that I didn't need to think about too much. I'm really looking forward to reading the other two. original.gif
