I have private basic hospital cover with AHM, and I don't have obstetrics cover. I was hoping to have D&C through public system (how I had babies) but it may be a slow process and I just emotionally can't handle waiting too much longer. It has been 1.5 weeks nearly with testing and I want it over. So, considering private but not sure if the procedure is classified as obstetrics or just general surgery. Does anyone know? It's too late to call them as they're shut. I see my basic excess is $250 for a one day stay. Does anyone know other expenses associated with the D&C? Thanks in advance This post has been edited by Hiding for now: 17/01/2012, 07:09 PM |

Had my D&C today through the public system and couldn't be happier with the service. So, I guess I won't need to know the answer now.
