DH did his 4th SA this morning, 15 months post VR, going to get results next week. This will probably determine whether I have a chance at a BFP or not. Ever.

njs4dks - Awww, it doesn't always mean there's something wrong with you. A chemical pregnancy is essentially a very early miscarriage. And miscarriages are common. 25% of pregnancies end in miscarriage.

I've had 2 suspected chemical pregnancies since February, and my obgyn said unless it is happening consistantly, over and over again, it's nothing to worry about, and that it's common.

She said most people who have chemical pregnancies don't even know they're pregnant, as most people aren't testing this early. Their AF eventually comes, and they just think their AF was just a bit late. So it's probably even more comman than is recognised in official numbers.

As devestating as it is (trust me, I know), it doesn't mean there is something wrong with you. It's just nature's way of sorting things out.

Big hugs, and just remember, that chem preg is just nature's way of making sure you are making way for your perfect little bubba sometime soon. Nature didn't want you to have anything less than perfect

Sorry for the me post yesterday, I've been MIA because my back has screwed out (again), it's too painful to sit at the computer, and I can only really stalk from my phone. Too difficult to post!

Nadia - I'm so sorry. I can't even imagine how devastating it would be to get that BFP and have it taken away like that

Mel - I'm sorry about your cousin. I understand. My brother and SIL are going to TTC after their wedding. She thinks it's going to happen straight away (and she probably will ) she's even been counting down to her maternity leave for months. Anyway, their wedding is in 2 weeks, and I'm just dreading that announcement.
When does your DH finish exams?

Was it Womble that had all that info about when the best time to do a SA is? I'm really curious to know if we did it agt the best time - god knows we need it!!

So sorry to hear njs4dks. I haven't to my knowledge had a chemical pregnancy but I imagine an emotional rollercoaster doesn't even begin to describe the experience.

Well, I said I was taking a break while going on holidays, but it turns out to be a little addictive to take my BBT every morning (yes, sometimes at night too, just to torture myself), so my thermometer went with me, on the plane to Dubai, Turkey, and Egypt (I managed to keep a pretty consistant 6:30am time most days!), but as a result, my temps are all over the place, (not helped by a cold!) and because I wasn't taking my meds, it looks like an entire waist of a month as FF is now saying I didn't ovulate . I had tentative lines for the CD14, but when I put in this morning's slight rise, it decided to stop all pretences. Now just waiting impatiently for AF to rock up, to start this ride all over again.. yay .
