Since I had my second child twelve months ago, I now weigh 2 kg less than I did before I became pregnant. I am busy, looking after my 2 active kids, picking up after them, doing the washin, cooking etc but it still surprises me that I have lost this weight without even trying. I'm not watching what I eat and in fact, eat ice cream or chips at least once a day. Just wondering if anyone else is now slimmer than they were before having kids (I know, usually it's the opposite!). I'm even beginning to wonder if everything's OK with me and maybe I should get my health checked out.

QUOTE (bluedragon @ 13/06/2012, 11:54 PM) It's breastfeeding that has done it for me. I'm 4kgs lighter than pre-pregnancy, finally lost the last few kgs to get back to my ideal weight.
I'm worried about when DS weans as I've got into some bad habits with food again just because I can. Ditto. Really should take advantage as I'm always overweight. But it's so nice to be losing weight while eating whatever I want.

QUOTE (Kay1 @ 13/06/2012, 10:32 PM) It might be worth having your thyroid checked. An overactive thyroid can cause weight loss, also anxiety, jitteryness, insomnia etc. Thyroid problems are very common after having a baby. Its a simple blood test. Hopefully you are just lucky!! + 1, been down this road twice before. Also keeping my fingers crossed that you are one of the lucky ones as well!
