So I'm in my 19th week of my second pregnancy, a singleton pregnancy. Twice this week I've broken out in hives, and it's agonising. No triggers that I can think of.
Has anyone had PUPPP who hasn't been in the typical group (first pregnancy, third trimester, twins)? I'm seeing my midwife on Thursday and will mention it to her, of course. |

Hi, I haven't had PUPPS but did break out in hives a couple of times when pregnant with DS. I get them very occasionally - probably about 8 times in my life - and my ob said that sometimes when pregnant your body just becomes extra sensitive to triggers (still can't figure out what my triggers/allergens are).
I just took some antihistamines and was fine. Hope that's all it is for you too. |

Oh you poor thing. I had terrible PUPPS but I was in the typical group- first pregnancy, 36 weeks, but a singleton girl. It went away when my LO was 2 weeks old but came back for a week about 2 weeks later... so distressing! Really hope it's a temporary thing for you give it is atypical!!
