We received a weber for chrissy and starting to entertain a little. I am short on ideas of what to cook for guests, other than steak (which these days costs a fortune for a good piece). Any other BBQ ideas for guests?

thank you

chicken skewers
chicken wings
roasts?
fish skewers
prawn skewers
rissoles
sausages
kofta (rissoles on a stick type of thing)
flat chicken

Really - anything meaty

Also, you can buy steak in bulk, like a whole rib fillet or rump, and get it sliced, making it a bit cheaper than buying it a piece at a time.

Vegies on the bbq are fabulous. We regularly do corn, zucchini, sweet potato, carrot, eggplant, capsicum.

Any veg you'd normally cook, you can bbq and the flavours are amazing. Look at youtube for some great weber cooking inspiration. Some people use them to cook everything you'd cook in your kitchen.

Chook with a can of beer up it's bum seems popular but I've not tried it myself. unsure.gif

Webers are great for doing a roast.

Roasts turn up beautifully in a weber. The crackling on roast pork is to die for.

Pizzas also come out really well in a weber. We use a pizza stone and the taste is incredible.
