I am looking for some long sleeve tshirts which are not slim fit for my DD1. She is only 6 years old but quite tall and big for her age. She actually fits into size 10 atm. I am finding it extremely hard to find tshirts to fit her as most tshirts seem to be quite a slim fit. I have tried Kmart, Target, Pumpkin Patch and Myer and so far no luck. I plan on trying Next as well but her size appears to ne out of stock. Does anone know of somewhere that sells Long sleeve girls tees which are a bit more of a loose fit? Would love some help - so far she has zero winter tees.

Have you looked at the boys ones? DD often wears her brothers hand me down Ts and they are a broader fit. Kmart, etc have plain coloured ones.

Thanks for your reply 3_for_me. I did not think to try the boys but definitely will. Would probably be a better range of colours too as my girl is not into pinks etc. Thanks again, you have saved me some searching. Shopping with a toddler and baby in tow is not much fun

I don't have a child that big yet but I find Gymboree tshirts quite wide on my DD, who wears size 4. We also have some wide ones from Big W.

Know where you're coming from, my 6yo is a big tall girl as well.
Unfortunately she is very girly and the boys stuff wouldn't work for her and even worse is most of her friends are smaller than her and still fit in the age 6 clothing which is frills and fluff and I'm having to get her the least vile stuff from the older kids section. Try shops in the US, they often have plus or husky ranges for the bigger built child. I'm finding my daughter still just fits in some of the 7x stuff from US whereas she is easily age 9/10 here. gymboree thechildrensplace (they seem to have a good shipping offer on atm, I ordered $95 and only paid $20 shipping this morning) I also like boden clothes, usually buy from UK, some of their things are generous in size though it pays to read the reviews Seeing as we are opposite seasons there is still some sale stuff hanging around pretty cheap! |

I got some size 10 long sleeve shirts for our DD from Big W. They were looser and had a gathered neckline and gathered sleeves. DD thought they were cute.

GoneWithTheWhinge I am not a big fan of what is available in the older kids section either. It is way to trend driven which I prefer to avoid at this age. Love the sites you recommended especially Boden - thank you. Looks like I will have to check out Big W as well. Thanks for the replies everybody - I appreciate it.
