I want to get a new phone but seriously, there are just too many to choose from. I think I have narrowed it down to 2 brands, either the iPhone or an HTC of some sort (too many of those as well). I know I don't want a phone that uses Windows because, well, I just hate anything Windows. I love my mac so an iPhone seems the way to go but SO expensive. I am totally open to Android and have the read that the HTC brand is really good. So.....I need help in making a choice. What do you guys have??

Doink!
I have an HTC Desire HD and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my phone. Especially now that they finally released Instagram for Android.

Only problem with my phone is that the touch screen has recently started playing up, but it is still under warranty, so I just have to send it away. I think it's a problem that you could get with any touch screen phone.

I will definitely buy another HTC when I decide to upgrade phones - but this phone is pretty awesome, I imagine it will be a few years before I need to.

It was easy to link my email addresses and FB accounts, I can buy music on itunes and put it on my phone with no problems, plus the model I have has a bigger screen than an iPhone. Cost me about $550 I think, although they're retailing for just under $400 now that the Velocity and One have come out.

Personally there's no way I'd switch to iPhone, even if App developers seem to forget Android users a lot of the time.

eta: go into a phone store if you can and have a play with the demo models, see what you like the feel of better.
I will admit I was also tossing up a Samsung Galaxy II when I bought my phone. I can't remember what made me go the HTC. Maybe cost?

I have had two HTC phones. I don't like them, I much prefer DH's iPhone and will be getting one with my new plan. However, my HTCs are not the latest fancy new model so I can't speak about that.

I have the HTC desire Z and I'm not real happy with it. Its had software issues and the camera is terrible. I didn't go with iPhone as everyone seems to have one but I wish I did now.

DH has an HTC and he loves it, not sure which model he has, I have an iPhone 4S and I love it as well. I am NOT tech savvy at all, but from what I can make out, the iPhone is easier to use and navigate than the HTC but the HTC seems to do more? Though it could just be that I don't yet know exactly how to use my iPhone.

I chose the iPhone purely for aesthetic reasons!

I have been using my HTC Legend without a problem since they were released. I've even had to replace the screen as I dropped it on the driveway and shattered the first one - but it is still all good. My DH has an iphone, and if you're already Mac-focused, they are good - but we are PC users so the Android platform is better for us. Esp for Gmail - linking.

I can only vouch that I love my iPhone as I have never had the HTC one.
