Hi,

I have been googling and reading EB and everyone seems to get their AF somewhere after 4 - 5 weeks.
I passed the sac naturally 3 weeks and 2 days ago, I only stopped spotting about a week ago (when I say this I mean that when I wiped there was brown stringy mucous).
I didn't expect to get my AF so soon, I didn't think that it would be enough time to build up any lining.
I was about 8/9 weeks with a blighted ovum.

Has anyone else got AF so soon after a natural M/C.

Thanks for any replies.

You're nothing but an extra, and baby I'm the star!
Hi there,

I had a natural miscarriage on the 20th Feb(I was about 8-9 weeks also), stopped bleeding after 5 days and then had AF return on the 20th March (so just over 3 weeks later)

I was quite shocked also that my body returned to normal so quickly.

xo

I have had two stillbirths and I got my period I between 24-27 days after both birth, so yes it is possible your period is returning.

Thanks ladies for your replies.

I am 38 so a bit older and this is my second M/C so I didn't think that my hormones would regulate so quickly. Not that I am unhappy about that as it means I can start trying again.
Also I had been bleeding for about 3 weeks and only stopped spotting a week ago.

Thanks.
