Hi Mummys,

Great news, its a girl! I told hubby it was a boy, but he said girl and won the bet! We are both very excited!

Not posting the results on f/book as my family has all decided they want a surprise (except my sis bless her, had to tell someone!).

Please update my details on the list.

Thank you original.gif

Beth

PS Sorry, no personals tonight, just got home and got to do dinner and have an early night. Take care everyone

Ooby - did you decide on a place for your babymoon? What about Whitsundays, so beautiful there and not as far as Fiji or Thailand!

I'm pretty sure we'll go to the Gold Coast - to a nice 5 star resort wink.gif It's a quick flight and reasonably cheap to get there too. My mum is going to buy me an extra night for my birthday present so we can probably make it 4 or 5 nights now!

For SPD I can only recommend you see a good chiro who has experience in treating SPD (ask on EB in your state). I did that before I was pregnant and have been seeing mine every 2-4 weeks and I have nearly no pain at all. By this time with my last babies I could barely walk or roll over in bed.

That's what I'm afraid of. I'm going to try and speak to my OB (or the midwife if she's not available) about it tomorrow. I mentioned this to my mum this afternoon and she said that she was 'bedridden' from 26 weeks with her last pregnancy with very similar symptoms sad.gif

My level after 2 hours was elevated sad.gif which means I have GD again with this pregancy (I had it with #1 but not #2) and they are now getting me organised to see a diabetes educator and I'm in for a few lovely months of finger pricking.

Ugh! You poor thing sad.gif . Are there any particular risk factors for someone to develop GD or is it a 'luck of the draw' thing?

I hope everyone is well and happy!

xx

Hi All,
What a gender tally. Was wondering if any of you know what the cut off is for flying while pregnant. Me and DH want to go on a trip but not sure what the cut off for flying is.
Hope you are all well.

Hi Kate,
I flew when I was 34 weeks pregnant with my 1st and my ob was happy with that. From what she said you're ok to fly up until 36 weeks when the airlines and dr's advise you to stay out of the air. That's what I know to be true. It's less if you're pregnant with twins. Try to get a seat next to the toilets, I was up and down like crazy original.gif

Claire - Sorry to hear! It must be very nerve racking for you and I hope it all works out. Thinking of you and your little one

BM - How awful for you! I hope it doesn't cause too many problems for you.

Ooby - Your babymoon sounds nice! Enjoy the time away biggrin.gif

AFM - I am certain now that I am feeling Peanut move. I have been feeling things for almost a week now and was unsure if it was gas or bubs but am pretty certain now it's bubs! It's very exciting!!
I had my first yoga class last night and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to next weeks class.
20 weeks 1 day today so started on the downhill run now!! I had my antenatal appointment with my midwife this morning and all is going well. She is happy with how I am travelling and got to hear Peanut's heartbeat which I always love.
7 days now until my ultrasound and cannot wait...as you can tell!! eexcite.gif Although we are not finding out the sex, I cannot wait to see Peanut again and get a few more photos for the fridge.
I hope you are all travelling well and congrats Beth!! Lots of pink shopping!!! Can't believe how many girls we have in the group. I would ove to even it out with some blue but will have to wait and see.

Just a quick one.

Scan tomorrow, so excited and nervous and worried at the same time. Hah, I'm a mess.

Also Kate82, if it's overseas I've found a lot of travel insurance cuts off at 26 weeks, but some go longer than that. Hope that helps.

Hi all!

Just joining in now, although I have been lurking for a while.

We had our scan on Monday and can add another pink one to this DIG. How funny! So it's off to do some shopping biggrin.gif

I wil have to go back and read through the previous threads but I am very excited to be able to share this experience with you all, this is our first and it's all a little bit scary!
