Our teens are good kids but I know they don't tell us everything, sometimes I wonder what they have gotten up to without us knowing.

At 16 I used make a pillow body under the doona and sneak out to go clubbing in Melbourne. I'd organise a bag of clothes & place them in the vacant block next door so that my outfit would be ready after I'd snuck out and jumped the fence. My friends would be in a taxi waiting and off we would go on our clubbing adventures. On return I'd pick up my pjs from the bag, jump the fence and tap on the bedroom window for my younger sister to let me in (she was totally in on it).

My parents were quite strict and didn't have a clue, they still don't! Sometimes I'd shimmy along the wall & out the back door while my dad was in the next room watching tv, I can still remember the adrenaline rush. It would break his heart if he knew and I feel too guilty STILL to tell tongue.gif

That and smoking. I can't believe they never smelt it on me.

ETA - Forgot wagging. Fun times, used to make a day of it and go the the movies in the city. Got sprung twice which didn't go down well at my Catholic girls school.

Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh
The list of things I did behind my mum's back is rather long

Sneaking out
Knick knocking
roof rocking
drinking
smoking
smoking weed
Driving her car
stealing her clothes
going off to Melbourne
going to the Deni ute muster
under age clubbing
Getting my younger sister drunk

She knows about most of it now, she is fine with it.

ETA: Oh I forgot wagging. And with a 17 year old brother I have to say wagging school was so much easier back then, Mum gets a text message and an email if my brother hasn't been in class(let alone school for the whole day just if he misses a single class)

Smoking, drinking, drugs, sex, sneaking out, saying you were one place but being somewhere entirely different, wagging school... That pretty much covers it I think.

Oh yeah, knickknocking, I'd totally forgotten about that, oh and prank phone calls. And yes, underage clubbing (although it was much more the pub scene way back when...).

Jeez, I wish I had you girls as my friends.

I just lied from time to time. I wished I did more adventurous stuff whenI was young. I might have a nice r/ship with them now if I did.

Sex, drinking, smoking dope, accidentally wandering into a warzone, attending political rallies that turned violent, breaking people's hearts....

Mind you I was a grown up!

I got sooo mad with my Dad once I let the air out of all his car tyres knowing that the nearest sero was 11k away.... rant.gif
...........then I felt guilty and spent the next hour pumping them up with this old hand pump in the 35degree sun
He never knew until I told him 20 years later but according to him it was worth the wait roll2.gif

Drinking alcohol out of their rarely used collection of liqueurs.

Getting drunk at school (only once at the muck up assembly)

Sex at school (well that was until some friends walked in on my male friend and I). It was funny bringing this up at the reunion and our friends all remembered the incident blush.gif Still wish they hadn't walked in as I had had a crush on my friend for two years and I found out 4 years ago that he had had a crush on me for the same time.

Tell them I was spending the night at a friends house and then go to the boyfriend at the times house and have sex

Once spent a night at a hotel with now DH, told parents I was at the ILs. I had already asked permission to do this ( I was 18 anyway so why should I have had to ask for permission rolleyes.gif ) and mother pretty much said no way in h*ll. I did it anyway.

Op I was similar to you only I had my click clothes under my pj's . My sister & I took alternative weekends to go out was fun patents didn't know till 2 years ago now at 26 & 28 we still giggle about it.

My sisters and I drank but parents knew we had sex (they didn't know) I wagged school, I got expelled & re instated in one day and parents never knew. We got up to do much, I actually found my fake ID not long ago it's funny. I think sneaking out is sometimes a right of passage lol
