I saw Roxette at Rod Laver last night. OMG, I'm still gushing over it. The whole thing took me back 20 years to when I was young and free, and gosh I cried in 'It Must Have Been Love', 'Crash Boom Bang' and 'Watercolours in the Rain'. Such an emotional night, but an amazing one at that too. I think it is fairly obvious Marie has health issues (previous brain tumour) and this just made the whole event even more emotional and amazing.

An amazing night!!!! To those who are seeing them in the future - you have one fantastic night ahead of you!

Yep, I went on Friday night to Sydney Entertainment Centre, it was awesome!

The crowd was on their feet most of the night!

Loved, loved, loved their choice of first song and the encore was brilliant.

I went in Sydney. Really good show and incredibly enthusiastic crowd. I saw on their website that they sold 30,000 tickets in Sydney. Who would have thought?

I enjoyed it but wouldn't rave about it. Then I wasn't a huge roxette fan back in the day. Did anyone else notice that she stuffed up the lyrics a bit and I didn't think she looked really well. I read that she had had a brain tumor so do t know if that had anything to do with her appearance.

Anyway, it was good but not the best concert I have been to.

I went last week and had heaps of fun.

She is so amazing and brave to come back to performing after her battle with brain cancer. We lost my dhs brother to the same cancer a year ago and she had the same chance of recovery which is only 5 percent.

She has lost sight in one eye and still struggles with balance. So she does move a little wooden at times. But very understanable.Considering what she has been through I think she was great. She is also in her mid 50s and still has a great figure.

Per also looked and sounded great.

!! I didn't know about it until I saw this thread just now. A few days ago I was having a bit of a nostalgic Roxettefest, watching my favourite songs on youtube. Had I known, I'd definitely made the effort to go!

I wasn't a Roxette fan but went with my husband who is. At first I was a bit embarrassed as most of my friends would think Roxette is daggy. But I was so surprised how popular they were and I really enjoyed it even though I didn't know many of the songs.
