I finished it a while ago and was pretty disappointed with the whole book TBH. My theory is the TV show is so popular that she's given up on the books, but i don't know if it's just me....

I felt like i kept waiting for the storyline to begin, but it just didn't. When it ended i realised what the story was about, but it didn't feel like a proper storyline.....does that make sense?

I read it a few weeks ago and have completely forgotten how it ended.

Just read the last few pages to refresh my memory.

Yep very annoying, I like them together too. The next book is apparently going to be the last so who knows what is going to happen.

Crap book.

It's all pretty obvious. Sookie+Sam, and Eric will be written off as a character...what's left anyway? He is a complete shell of his former self, an angry humorless loveless control freak. Not the Eric we knew!

After I read about 6 books in a row waiting to see whether Eric and Sookie get together at last, the demise of their romance is a disappointment to say the least.

Let's be honest, the series have been going downhill for some years now.

Yeah you're right. It has gone downhill. I was reading it on my iPad and to be honest had no idea how far along I was and the chapter and ended and went to read the next chapter and it was finished?!?

Pam is usually funnier too. Makes me just look forward to the new season starting next week in e US.

Yep i have to agree just finished it last night. Was hoping it would get to the story line and never did. Though i was abit over the whole eric and sookie thing. But i always thought she would get with sam. But not her best book. Cant wait for the new true blood series to start. original.gif
