There is a house around the corner from me that has probably only been built in the last 3 years or so and now in the last month there has been a huge amount of tradesmen showing up - kitchen renovation vans, carpentry, tilers - its really got me intrigued as to what is going on !! Surely after only 3 years you wouldnt have a complete kitchen reno ? Arggh, its just bugging me, I want to stickybeak so badly LOL !!

So what do you want to know that you cant find out ?? LOL !
Reason for edit: Edited title to appease lovealpacas ;)

DH's old house that he grew up in. It was in shambles when his family moved out (landlord wasn't good with repairs). Its been renovated and I want to see inside! I was hoping the current owners were doing it up to sell it, not to live in it without an open house. mad.gif

I've been guily of this too, I often stalk allhomes.com and since my Mum has owned two other homes in our suburb (I've lived in both) that have come up for sale twice each since she sold them in 2006 and 2009, I've been successful. Amazing what a fish-eye lens can do, that room sooooo wasn't that big when I was living there! biggrin.gif

I have always wanted to know why the surname of my Mother's 2nd husband is listed on my birth certificate as her maiden name. (her maiden name is completely different, she and her 2nd husband dated before her first marriage, I am estranged from her so am unable to ask her). It just seems so odd and would like to know why.

Apparantly it's a show biz thing. They decided all tv numbers would start with 555 and no real numbers would be made with that prefix. That way no one ever got hassled by people trying to phone tv characters biggrin.gif
