Just tell them its their fault, they let patrons leave without the bill being paid. Too bad.

If they have your CC details, I think you should cancel it ASAP, although illegal to charge you, who knows what they might try to do.

Don't pay a cent.

Do you know that everyone did infact pay?

If so I'd give them a call and just tell them as it is, politely. If their till is out, it may be because of another table they could look into.

Call your friends and ask how much they paid each? IMO it is the restaurants fault for miss calculating.

Did everyone just go up and tell them what they ordered? That is a guaranteed way for people to forget drinks, garlic bread, shared bottles of wine etc.

I'd ask them for a breakdown of the outstanding bill and go from there.

Double check with people that they all paid and that someone covered the mum to be.

Once you've checked that and that's all covered I'd let the restaurant know that you'll need to see an itemised bill with what was paid and what is owed. Unless they can provide this so you can actually check they aren't voercharging you I wouldn't give them one cent more.

No people just went up and put in what they calculated they spent, nothing was ticked off the list so they cant even tell me what was or wasnt paid for.

At the end of the night they didnt mention to anyone that there was money outstanding, they just emailed me instead.

In which case, I can guarantee that people underpaid or some people didn't pay at all.

I'd email the invitees and ask that if anyone forgot to pay that they please do.
