DH has put on a bit of weight...sympathy weight during my pregnancy he says rolleyes.gif
He snores every night due I think to the weight gain, worse if he's had a few drinks.
Other than throwing him out of bed to sleep on the couch (which I'm tempted to do when he's at it 3am), is there anything i can do to get him to stop? He only really does it when he's on his back, so I kick the crap out of him get him to change position.
Do those nasal strip things to stop snoring work? DS2 has been sleeping through for a few weeks now, so I'd REALLY love to get a proper nights sleep again.

24 hours is never enough.......
Earplugs are good.
Spare bedroom with a comfy duvet and pillow? Much, much better.

I was going to say kick him until he stops lol

My MIL sleeps with earplugs in, nothing could stop FIL from snoring so she saw it as the only option other than kicking him out

My husband does nasal strips, sprays, doesn't drink anything but water for a few hours before bed, does mouth exercises recommended for snorers...I still haven't had an uninterrupted night's sleep in weeks.

He's not overweight at all, but his snoring has just gotten worse for unknown reasons. It's caused me a LOT of stress and angst. I dunno. My stepdad is a bad snorer and he and mom have successfully adapted to sleeping in neighboring bedrooms and have a happy 25 year marriage. I just don't know what to do, short of that. I wish you luck!

Earplugs biggrin.gif

Seriously, they have been my lifesaver.
Unfortunately, it is hard when you have a young baby that you have to listen out for.
Try nasal spray. My DH uses an over the counter spray that his GP recommended on his stuffy nights.

File your elbow to a sharp point...

Or try a gentle shove under the shoulder or hip. I find ear plugs useless because it's the vibration that keeps me awake.

I, too, will be stalking this thread.
