Yesterday afternoon I came home to a barely breathing Irene on my doorstep. sad.gif She'd been hit by a car an managed to crawl her way to my house despite not being able to walk. sad.gif

She's currently at the vets on life support, with broken legs, and significant kidney damage and it doesn't look like she will pull through at this stage. sad.gif

Even more devastated than when she went back home! cry1.gif She's still been a daily visitor almost every day. cry1.gif

Oh EB, that is just awful. cry1.gif But she knew in her heart who to turn to. You are the one she loves.

That's horrible. I'm so sorry.

They're paying the vet bill so I doubt they will let me keep her. I just hope she gets better. Was so awful seeing her like that. sad.gif

Oh I wish those STUPID owners hadn't come looking for her! She'd still be safe if she was with you. Bloody idiots. This is why I HATE cats outside!

Hope she pulls through EB sad.gif

How awful, for her and for you. I am sorry you had to see that.

Makes me so angry though, she goes missing for what almost a month but is still let outside and now she has been hit by a car less than a week back at home.

Do you think there is any way you could talk them into letting you keep her? sad.gif

QUOTE (Ferdinand @ 21/08/2012, 08:14 AM) *
I wouldn't ask. if she survives and comes around again (and you just know they won't keep her inside even after being hit by a car) I would just make sure she stays inside. If they come looking for her, I'd lie ph34r.gif

If they can't look after her properly, I would. Dishonest? hell yes, but I couldn't care less.

this would be me too! There's no way I'd be giving her back. I'd be offerring to let her recourperate at my house and then never giving her back.

OP I am sending positive thoughts towards Irene and I have all my fingers crossed she comes through this for you.

As a PP said, you're the one she loves, she knew where to go when things were desperate.
