If I was the girlfriend I wouldn't be too happy either.

OK fair enough it can be real sex for porn movies but is this just going too far.? Where's the acting? Why the need to do it for real?

WDYT?

What fresh hell is this?
Well, that's a new way of getting advance publicity for the movie.

As for the storyline, the film is said to be about "a young woman's journey into adulthood"
Or, a 14yo boy's wet dream.

Willem Dafoe is in it. No surprises there! biggrin.gif

Further down it stated that she said the reason she was upset wasn't anything to with the film.

Meh...it's up to them as a couple what movie parts he takes. I am more concerned with movies like The Human Centipede than I am with seeing "real sex" done in any movie.

It's been done before, definitely in the film Romance, and in Don't Look Now according to cinematic lore.

meh...what's the difference to audience between looking at simulated sex scenes and real sex scenes? It doesn't sound like they'll be showing any of the *ahem* stuff!

Personally I hate sex scenes full stop in movies, I don't think they add anything to movies and it's just a lazy way to fill in time!

Also, who care what his girlfriend thinks? It's between them!

Meh.

It's been done since the 70's. Caligula anyone?

Not so much in the 80's. But that decade was very much about family movies, horror slashers and special effect laden high concept movies.

Von Trier and a couple of other indie filmmakers have just brought back an oldish technique. That's all.

And all involving consenting adults I would presume. Hollywood is bound by rules and regulations when it comed to it's actors. Nowhere near as dodgy as the porn industry.
