Bex - We don't have a list. This pregnancy has gone faster than the first one but it helps that DS was at school part-time so I kinda count down the trimesters by terms instead. I know this baby will be born before the next school holidays and there is only 4 weeks of school left. I had a scan at 6 weeks 5 days due to the spotting I was having - I wasn't planning on getting a dating scan it just worked out that way. Good luck with your scan and the move.

Duck - Thanks nothing has happened yet from the s&s though. Pregnancy does suck even if it is as much as we wanted it so bad. It will be worth it.

Nurserobin - Are you going to share what the baby is when you find out or keep it a secret? I hope you feel better for your holiday I went to bali at 9-10 weeks but so long as I nibbled something regularly and drink lots I was ok. My mum paid $6 for some arnotts cheese crackers for me and they were so good to live on.

AFM - Nothing from the s&S. I already have started with daily texts and phone calls (and I'm already over it) DH is working all week about 1.5 hours from home so has asked me to wait till the weekend - I very much snapped his head off then I felt bad because he hasn't worked much in 2 weeks. I have a chrio appointment today and see the OB tomorrow for another s&s and see when we will book in an induction (OB will only let me go 1 week over my due date) I know my body is only going to go into labour when it's ready but I so over being pregnant.

Hi Ladies.
Been having internet issues hence the delay but finally announcing the arrival of Jack Henry W.
Born Friday 24th August 2012 at 6.10pm
Weight 3.54kg
Height: 52cm
Had an induction, waters broken, on drip to start labour, epidural all in all was a great tongue.gif experience, in many ways found this birth much more intense knowing what it was all about and at the same time it felt so new.

Some pics of bubs:

and for a flashback to DD Georgia biggrin.gif

Good Afternoon Everyone!

msmarti - Congratulations on the arrival of Jack Henry - he is gorgeous!! They definitely look alike! How is your DD going with her new baby brother?

Mumma to A - How did you go with the Ob yesterday? Another S&S? Hope you are too busy having a baby to reply to this!

bex - I had my dating scan around 7 wks I think? How is your sister going? My MS kicked in at 6wks this time too, earlier than it did with DS. Hope its stay is short for you!

duck - how are you going lovely? I found this pregnancy harder in the early stages too. Doesn't help we have little energiser bunnies to chase around! Hope your energy burst comes early.

nurserobin - how are you going? How is the MS? Hope its easing up for you. STarting to get excited about your hols?

AFM - Just plodding along here. Can't believe only last week I was dreading the worst! Never want to go through that stress again. It took DH a while to get over it, longer than I did.

Enjoying my aqua aerobics classes. The girls catch up each week as well, so its nice to start making some new friends, as we are all due over the next 3-4 months. I really miss all my friends from Perth and all the bubs from mother's group, so its nice to start socialising again. Its funny though, as they are mostly first time mums, so are asking me a gazillion questions. I'm no expert!! Don't think I would be even after 10 kids!

DH felt bubs move for the first time on the weekend which was really special. He missed a lot of that with DS as he was on deployment. So glad he doesn't go away anymore! Bubs is getting stronger and stronger with the kicks and a lot more frequent. Sure lets me know if I eat anything like chocolate or a cold drink!

My next Ob appt is next Monday, should be getting the referral for my glucose testing etc. Hoping my iron levels are ok - I've been taking supplements from the start this time, on top of my pregnancy ones, as I ended up with iron injections and taking liquid iron for the last trimester with DS.

Yay!!!!! Congrats to you ms-marti! ddance.gif eexcite.gif

What a cutie, and so much hair! I love the pic of him peeking over your shoulder. Max shares his birthday and had nearly the same stats too! Hope you're getting some rest and enjoying lots of cuddles original.gif

Just a quick one, still cruising through MS hell, and DS has brought home a cold from daycare. Can you feel the love glare.gif Docs still aren't happy with my progesterone, so still getting lots of blood tests and monitoring. Can't wait 'til they give me the green light to go off and enjoy being pregnant without the constant fear of my body failing me sad.gif Anyways, still can't help feeling incredibly fortunate to be here biggrin.gif Work has given me the green light to work past my 6 month contract and to come back after mat leave, yay!

Duck - Yay! Thats great news.

Shirley - My iron levels have been low too this time so have been trying to remember to take the tablets. I am shocking though I think I need a sticker chart for myself to remember. Lovely for your Dh to feel the movements this time. I hope you make a few new friends at aquanatal classes.

Clm - Hi original.gif Keep plodding along.

Ms-Marti - Congratulations and welcome to the world Jack! That could have been the same photo shoot of your kids. Adorable

Jess - I hope you are doing well! Busy with study?

AFM - Still going. I had my third s&S on thursday (2cm still streached to 3, bub is about 2/5th engaged) and started to lose my plug (alot of it over 24 hours) I had prelabour pains early friday but they died off again and then nothing since. I saw my chiro who said everything is looking good and he thinks baby is right and ready now to come out. I have yet again another s&s today at the hospital at 3 so hope this s&s might do the trick. I'm trying every induction trick there is.

My OB has booked my induction for the 17th which is only 5 days after my due date (will have s&s on tues and fri also) but my mum has to go have an op on her knee which is urgent and they have booked it for the same day. She is so upset that she might miss the birth that I'm going to ask to change it to later in the week. I just hope the s&s start something and I won't need her to worry.
