Five weeks ago I was diagnosed with a kidney infection, spent two days on IV antibiotics then a ten day course of oral antbiotics. It took me a week to recover and only had sporatic faint pain.

Since last night the kidney pain is back with gusto. I have been for another urine test, but not on antibiotics yet due to a severe thrush infection from the last lot.

What I would like to know from anyone is did you get residual pain with no infection or a repeat infection even after loads of antibiotics.

My results will be back on Monday but just after some experiences.

from memory my son did have residual pain after his bout with a Kidney infection for a little while.
I think they kept him on the A/B's for a little longer.

Well I have just gotten over another infection, and have still been having the pain in the 7 weeks between infections. Previous scans had come back clear, so now have been referred to a specialist to see whats causing the repeat infections.
