History: It's starting to heat up here and about a week ago I started to feel like my feet were swelling throughout the day.I was raising them when I could and of an evening, but the feeling didn't go away and started to be noiceable from first thing in the morning.
Current: Yesterday I actually took more notice and realised my feet aren't swollen at all. My right foot feels tight across the top at the base of the toes (like it would if swollen, or badly sunburnt) and is tingling. The tingling seems to be worse on the outside of my foot, but is noticeable across to my arch, up the front to my ankle, and about half way up the back of my calf. It's also in my left foot, but to a lesser extent. As I sit here now, it feels like that mild tingling when your foot is about to go to sleep, or has almost worn off. Weird, but no help forthcoming from Dr Google, so I thought I'd see if anyone on EB has had something simillar or has any ideas? |

Nerve issue or circulation problem would be my guess. Not much help I know. Are you going to see the doctor about it?

I hadn't planned on going to the GP about it. It's not painful. I was going to wait a few days and see if it clears up?
I haven't had any injuries or jarring which might have brought it on. |

When in concern, don't see dr google. See the GP at a medical office.
Sorry OP, but unless you know what you're trying to research steer clear of dr google. If your pregnant, call up your midwife and make sure it's not pregnancy related. This post has been edited by Madnesscraves: 07/11/2012, 08:55 PM |

See your doctor. Could be a number of things and they're the best person to check it out.

Poet In New York: yes, it's like a spider bite, but no signs of a bite (I looked). |

Have you got diabetes? That can cause foot problems I think.
But it doesn't matter what WE think, see a GP and see what a medical professional thinks. Could be nothing, could be serious. Won't know till you get it checked. |

Nope, no back/spinal problems, or diabetes.
Should have put the disclaimer in my OP - of course I'll go see my GP if it doesn't clear up. It's just curious for now, is all |

I had issues with tingling in my feet. Yes, I know it was a nerve issue, but it was a matter of finding out why. In my case, it cleared up once I went to the podiatrist. I got my foot taped whilst I waited for my orthotics to arrive and have been tingle free since.
