I bought the Queens brand organic vanilla bean paste, and it says 1 teaspoon equals 1 whole bean. How much liquid Queens natural vanilla essence does that equal? I am used to using the liquid. If I used to use 1 teaspoon of liquid do I use 1 teaspoon of paste? Because it seems a tad stronger than the liquid.

I use a teaspoon of either paste or extract.

Love the paste with the seeds.

I'd substitute half a teaspoon of the paste for a teaspoon of the extract.

I have a food blog.
I always just use 1tsp = 1tsp. I don't think you can really overdo the vanilla.

My DD's put vanilla in everything if I buy the essence or extract. It goes in vodka, coffee, coke and ice cream.
