Hi there,
DH bought Sarah Wilson's ebooks about quitting sugar last week and I think it's a fabulous idea. I'm officially in week one now and very proud I haven't had a bikkie from work all week! One thing she mentions is not to eat vegetable oils as they change structure when heated, etc. I bought some rice crackers today and noticed they list vegetable oil as an ingredient. Would you not eat them? I will of course limit packaged foods but really, are rice crackers bad? They have around 3g sugar. Do you need to be that obsessive about oils as well as sugar? Thanks heaps! :-) Jenny |

I won't touch vegetable oil now if I can help it, olive or nut oil only.
I seriously doubt you need to take it as far as not eating rice crackers though. |

You can get rice crackers wih no sugar in them - I would be more concerned with sugar being added to a rice cracker than vegetable oils. Maybe just change brands?

I'd swap to almonds or peanuts instead.
