DH bought Sarah Wilson's ebooks about quitting sugar last week and I think it's a fabulous idea. I'm officially in week one now and very proud I haven't had a bikkie from work all week!
One thing she mentions is not to eat vegetable oils as they change structure when heated, etc. I bought some rice crackers today and noticed they list vegetable oil as an ingredient. Would you not eat them? I will of course limit packaged foods but really, are rice crackers bad? They have around 3g sugar. Do you need to be that obsessive about oils as well as sugar?
Thanks heaps! :-)
