I think it will be fun to make Christmas chocolates with my DDs. Any idea where we can buy compound chocolate (have heard Cadbury's Sienna buttons are good) in Sydney. Would prefer to buy in store if possible, but will go online if absolutely necessary.

Coles dark or milk chocolate buttons (usually in the cake making/flour etc aisle) are fine to melt for chocolate moulds.
What I want to source are chocolate fillings like caramel and strawberry to make filled chocolates. Does anyone have suggestions if there are chocolate fillings anywhere available. |

I just use the nestle choc melts and if I want to make coloured ones I buy the white chocolate and get the powdered food colouring from Spotlight or a cake decorating supplies shop (cause liquid food colours ruin the chocolate).
What I want to source are chocolate fillings like caramel and strawberry to make filled chocolates. Does anyone have suggestions if there are chocolate fillings anywhere available. You can get the fillings from Spotlight, I got a caramel one from there last year and it tasted great, I think they now have a wider range of flavours available. |
