hey y'all need a good laugh, what's the funniest/cutest thing you've heard ur kids come out with recently? my dd whois 3.5ish is a true romantic.( took her to one wedding months ago and she's been obsessed ever since.) the other day we were watching something and a man n woman started kissing, and she said, "awww, they just married each other!" (if anyone has a funnier tangent to segue into, please feel free)

DH has been trying to drum into DD2 (she just turned 4, but was still 3 when this happened) that she needs to use her manners, such as please, thankyou, and so on.
She asked for a drink using the word please. DH handed over her drink and she said "Thank you", he turned and started walking away, not thinking that she was expecting anything else from him. So she made a point to him by saying very loudly, "You're WELCOME Ella", which is what she was expecting to hear from him after she said thank you. DH says she said it with so much attitude then turned around and walked off shaking her head.
I thought it was pretty funny when I heard it.

Driving back from shopping we passed our house to go and pick the older two up from school. DS2 aged 5, pipes up from the back seat : "Dude, you just went past our house" We have been teaching DD2 19 months to point and say eyes, nose and mouth and she hasn't really been interested, or so I thought....This afternoon we were playing with her shape sorter and she leant over poked me straight in the eye and clear as day said "eye"...So it seems she was interested after all

QUOTE (bakesgirls @ 16/11/2012, 01:27 AM) ......... saying very loudly, "You're WELCOME Ella", ......... I thought it was pretty funny when I heard it. It IS pretty funny! Well done Ella. We are staying in a hotel right now and 5 year old son told us soon after we arrived that he had just worked out that mixing blue and yellow made green. I thought it was a pretty funny thing to work out there and then, then my 8 year old pointed out that the toilets have "bloo loo" in them..... Don't tell me travel isn't a learning experience!
