Ok so we own a Holden Commodore wagon and will need three seats to fit across the back seat:

We currently own:
- Maxi Rider that is being used with adult seat belt on our tall 5 1/2yr old. Bought in 2010. This seat is perfect for her but it is wide. Worried if we buy a narrower seat it might not be suitable for very long due to her height. the Maxi Rider is the tallest seat on the market isnt it???

- Infa Secure covertible booster seat being used on our small 4yr old. Bought in 2008. Is getting old and a little tatty so could possibly replace this one however it is quite narrow already? We are wanting to keep DD in a 5point harness.

- Have been given a Mothers Choice Brand newborn to 18kg seat from my sister (only used for a year). These three seats wont fit together across the back (well they do just squeeze in but cant use adult seatbelt for booster). I am wanting to hire a capsule to suit the pram I bought: either a safety first or maxi cosi. and then once baby outgrows I will put into a newborn to 18kg seat in rearfacing mode.

What are your recommendations???

Maxi rider is a very wide seat. snS HLiner is slimmer and will last longer as a booster seat.

New Sns lifestyle or new sns compaq would be my suggestion for both NB ( or when they get out of capsule) and 4 yo. My 5 yo uses 5pt harness of the compaq. 117cm 7 yo even still fits under the height markers of this seat.

It is also a great seat to have next to a booster as it allows access to belt buckle for boosters.


Other one to look at is the New SnS maxi riderT&A as it is meant to be much slimmer then the old one plus has better seatbelt guide for booster mode.

I would not bother with the mothers choice seat. 9kgs rear facing only plus is usually outgrown prematurely when FF.
