As our menagerie has grown, boarding kennels during holidays have become expensive so we are looking at alternatives. We have picked up cards from our vet of some pet sitting services, and i was wondering if anyone has used a similar service and can they recommend someone good.

I have just received a flyer in my letterbox for "The Pop In Poppet" its a home and small pet care service.
Their prices range from $15/day up to $60/day.
They offer visits and pet feeding/walking. Also services to check mail, put bins in/out, water plants - even supply bread and milk for your return!!
