Did your marriage/wedding celebrant forget your name, turn up late or get drunk during your wedding? The Sydney Morning Herald is looking for tales of less than nuptial bliss about marriage/wedding celebrants for an upcoming article. Please email Julie Power at jpower@fairfaxmedia.com.au or call 9282 2059.
Thank you

Forget during the wedding - she not only turned up late, she was at least one, starting to border on two sheets to the wind when she did.

It was all fine though. She was quite funny (although I don't think MIL was amused). biggrin.gif

Our Minister had his fly undone for the entire rehearsal. Yes we did kneel infront of him for the blessing. For the actual wedding ceremony he had the "clerical frock" on thank goodness!

Not my wedding, a friends tiny shotgun registry office jobbie.

But the celebrant was utterly enamoured by one of the other guests - cornered him before the ceremony suggesting that he would make a great celebrant himself (actually he WOULD!) and even made a few comments during the ceremony aimed at him!

Cornered him afterward trying to push 'celebrant training' information on him - was tre weird!
