I'm after a pettiskirt type skirt for DD's dance concert but all I can find are ones that look very full. I have a very full one at home and when I tried it on her, you couldn't see some of the dance moves as the skirt hid them. So, I'm after one that has a bit more hang and a bit less fluff.

Any suggestions? Google is not getting me very far.

Ok folks, I've FINALLY finished (at least up to launchable state, I think) my website for my pettiskirt business, and would love it if anyone could have a look and let me know what they think.
I've kind of done it myself and my tech knowledge is frighteningly basic, so I may not know HOW to change a lot of stuff about it, but at least if you tell me what you think I can put it on my to do list and figure out over time whether the template will allow it.

Ok I'll put my asbestos suit on now, it hasn't really been seen by any 'strangers' yet so I'm hoping it's not awful and I'll try not to be sensitive!

Go to Target and grab one of the Collette Dinnigan for Target bounce skirts. They're designed for dancing (and they're very sweet).

Sevenyears - that one turned out to be just perfect. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend but DD loved it (she picked the blue which surprised me - I thought she'd want lavendar). We tried it on instore and you can see all the moves she needs to do. I was also able to get her the size bigger as the elastic was tight enough so she'll get extra wear out of it.

The bit about the waist is good to know. Santa is bringing my daughter a larger size (also in blue, and also because I wanted to get extra wear out of it) and I was worried about how it would go around the waist.

They are cute, but also a bit scratchy, not as soft as princess ratbag etc - They did seem to hang more and were less fluffy. Some cute shades too!
