Mine is $155 mellow.gif I think I will wait until after xmas to pay for it.

Is there anything crazy on yours? Mine requests a box of pencils and has in the notes 'not propelling'. I didn't know pencils could propel themselves. Maybe it refers to a pacer. huh.gif
A box of coloured paper is requested, one colour, doesn't say what colour...

I love booklists! I know, a bit odd.

DD1's is $800 ohmy.gif But she is starting year 7 and some of the books and other things are required for both year 7 and 8. Her uniform is close to the same price.

Propelling pencils are those ones that you twist to get the lead to go up, like twistable crayons. Sounds like they only want the old fashioned ones that you have to sharpen. original.gif

DS's calculator for year 9 advanced maths this year was $235 just on it's own!!!!!!!

We wont get ours to the last day. For the last few years it has been around $65 per child.

I now refuse to get glue sticks in the pack as for the cost of two, I can get a three pack of the same brand (full price) in the supermarket or kmart and the like. Since last year I think I needed over 12 and the year before close to 20 ohmy.gif (this is for 2 kids) It saves me a heap, especially if I catch them on special biggrin.gif

Also, DD1 was in year 2 this year. They required a box of normal grey leads and a box of the oversized triangular ones. She hates writing with the triangular ones so I purchased 2 and told her to tell me when they were about to run out and I would purchase some more. With 4 weeks to go, she still hasn't asked.

For grade 7, ours is just over $90. I'll get it all in January though as I don't order through the school.

We pay $250 to the school.. BUT that includes everything for the year except a couple of excursions (so swimming, bus levy, all text books, most of the excusions, etc are covered). I think the actual booklist part of it is about $70.
