Send them an email (with read receipt) stating they have until xx date to remove the skip or you will consider it abandoned and will be having it removed by a scrap metal dealer.
This. I did this with an oven that wasn't being collected by a company. I was phoning the store with no luck. So I sent an email to the head office saying I'd sell it if they didn't get it(it was picked up the next day).
I had a very similar issue with a skip company, they were so dodgy. Also when they dropped it off they said it had to be paid for then, so I paid the $300 + dollars, when they came to pick it up, finally, they said I hadn't paid, I showed the receipt and he tried to tell me it wasn't his signature on the receipt!!!
Keep your receipt and be firm on what you know. Goodluck.
