I'm after one of those lamps for baby that projects images onto the wall/ ceiling. Anyone know what they're called? I have no idea what to ask for or google huh.gif

I think they're just called projectors.

We have one of these:

Ours don't rotate but the colours of the stars change.

We have a disco ball (not mirror ball) that rotates. Also a turtle that shows stars and moon. You can choose a single colour or all 3 colours at once. Some kids prefer the disco but others are enchanted by the turtle.

Living as expat again!
We used to have it for when DS was a bub. Its called a projector lamp, it rotates and plays soft twinkly sound music.
I'm pretty sure you can still get it these days (DS is now 7 btw so it wasn't long time ago).
