DH took DD8yrs to a birthday party at about 12. She had chocolate crackles, fairy bread, cake made with heaps of food colouring and came home drinking a can of creaming soda.

Within 30mins of being home(about 2:45) she was fast asleep and is still asleep.

If she'd been hyper & bouncing off the ceilings when she got home from the party I could understand you wanting to offload her to someone else but what's the big deal if she is sleeping? Isn't that a good thing? (or have I missed something?)

I meant to add that giving her things such as polaramine & things that should make her drowsy, hype her up. Her system seems to be back-to-front. original.gif

Nah, she woke up a few minutes ago. Now quietly colouring in with her sister.
