Currently I have a 5mo and a 20mo who are in a capsule and a carseat respectively (I think it was the Babylove Prelude). The 5mo has nearly outgrown her capsule so I will need to move her into the carseat (rearfacing of course) and buy a new carseat for the 20mo. Any recommendations? I'd be keen to get something that she can use from now until she no longer needs a carseat if that's possible. Thanks in advance!

There are seats that are harnessed then move to booster mode - but there are dedicated seats that are better in both categories and the way things move in 2/3 years when your 20month old is moving out of a car seat with 5 point restraint I think there will be better seats on the market - so I'd look for a now seat.

My 115cm - 4year/9month old is still in her Safe & Sound Tilt & Adjust seat - we will need to look at something else for her soon (this seat rear faces to 12kg - she was in it til 18months that way)

Maxi Cosi Complete Air is another seat worth having a look at.

The Safe & Sound Maxi Riders do both 5 point harness & then onto booster mode - they rate better as harnessed seats though.

HTH a little. original.gif

Like PP I would purchase for now rather then the future.

My 5.5yo is in a 2010 standard sns Compaq. He is 114cm and still has growing room in this seat. His brother at 117cm is not at the height marker either. As he turns 6 I will move him to a new booster and his sister who is nearly 3 will go into the compaq.

Most convertible boosters in my experience are too upright for a child under 2.5-3yrs.

Just going to add that the compaq is a narrow seat and is made for easy access to seatbelts for booster seats so is great for fitting 3 across wink.gif . The cheaper version of this seat is the lifestyle. I love the high side wings on the 2010 standard seats.
