Took DD who is 3 1/2 to the dentist on the weekend for a checkup to be told she has a small ammt of decay on 3 molars. Dentist would like to fill them. My question is has anyones 3 year old or 4 year old ever had fillings done before, how did they go?

Dentist is quite keen to try them himself (obviously doing 1 each week). He'll see how he goes with her. She was great in the chair with him on Saturday. He said if he can't get them done he will have to refer her to a paed dentist.

Absolutley mortified that she needs fillings. We brush regularly, twice a day and she doesn't eat an awful lot of sugary lollies or drinks.
